Exhibition "History of Parkinson's disease" at the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg

The medical historical exhibition explains the mile stones of Parkinson's disease research since the first description of the disease in 1817 by James Parkinson.

It guides visitors from the description of clinical symptoms, via the first discoveries of its origin and development of currently used therapies up to innovative research approaches of the 21st century.

The exhibition is shown from 4-17 and 21-30 April at the Foyer of the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg. On the occasion of the World Parkinson's Day it opening ceremony takes place on 11 April at 9:00. In addition, the neurologists of the National Centre of Excellence in Research on Parkinson's Disease will guide interested visitor on the following days at 13:00 through the exhibition: 13 April / 20 April / 27 April. Entrance is free of charge.
