Travelling exhibition "History of Parkinson's disease" now at the Centre Hospitalier Emile Mayrisch

The medical historical exhibition explains the milestones of Parkinson's disease research since the first description of the disease in 1817 by James Parkinson.

It guides visitors from the description of clinical symptoms, via the first discoveries of its origin and development of currently used therapies up to innovative research approaches of the 21st century.

The exhibition is shown from 2 May - 3 June in the foyer of the Centre Hospitalier Emile Mayrisch in Esch-sur-Alzette. The exhibition is available in English, German and French and free of charge.

On 24 May 2016 at 17:00, neurologists Dr. Alex Bisdorff (CHEM) and Prof. Dr. Rejko Krüger (LCSB) will guide interested visitors through the exhibition. Registration for the guided tour is done via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
