JuP Parkinson Symposium: Prof. Dr Rudi Balling is the patron of the 2016 edition

The third edition of the Parkinson Symposium organized by the German patient association Jung und Parkinson will take place in Saarlouis (Germany) on September 24.

Professor Rudi Balling is the patron of this year’s event and he is “very pleased to be the patron of an event that promote dialogue between patients, researchers and healthcare professionals as close cooperation is the only way to make a difference.”

Prof. Balling will give a talk about scientific research on Parkinson’s disease and Dr Christian Stallinger, another member of the NCER-PD team, will present mPOWER, the new app for Parkinson’s patient used in the Luxembourg Parkinson’s Study to measure and record symptoms. Participants will also find information about the study at the NCER-PD booth as well as some tests (colour vision, dexterity, smell) that they can try out.

The JuP Parkinson Symposium will reunite experts from different fields (neurology, anesthesiology, physical training…) and a workshop will offer the opportunity to exchange with them. The complete program is available here
